Dr. Manolo Beelke is the Medical Lead at Nezar Clinical Research. With over 25 years of academic and industry experience, he is an internationally recognised leader in clinical development and medical strategy. He has a proven track record in leading start-up, small to mid-sized biotech and pharmaceutical companies, managing diverse interdisciplinary teams, and producing successful New Drug Applications (NDA), Biologics License Application (BLA), and drug development programs. He is a board-certified expert in Sleep Medicine and Neurology and currently holds a patent in neurology.

He has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles, designed over 50 clinical trials, and provided medical guidance in over 100 clinical trials, across a wide range of therapy areas, including multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, frontotemporal dementia, chronic pain, autoimmune diseases, sleep disorders, and rare diseases.

Dr. Beelke currently serves as Chief Medical Officer at Verum.de GmbH. With his deep academic and industry leadership experience, Beelke committed to helping bring innovative therapies to patients faster and more effectively.
